Southern Europe District Scouts are a part of British Scouting Overseas, an area of the UK’s Scout Association, designed to bring British Scouting to members of the expatriate communities. In Southern Europe we currently cover France, Spain, Italy, Georgia, Montenegro and Switzerland, giving many young people important #SkillsforLife.
As a district, we are made up of 15 groups and 8 Explorer Scout Units, which make up 300 young people across six different countries. Previously we were called France and Iberia District until the recent addition of 1st Naples where we changed our District’s name to Southern Europe.

Leadership Team
The District Leadership Team is made up of Commissioners, Managers and Supporters who provide leadership and management across the District along with specialised support in areas like people, programme, growth and development, and Youth Shaped Scouting.
Board of Trustees
The District Board of Trustees plays a vital role in the running of a Scout District. Board of Trustees make decisions and carry out administrative tasks to ensure that the resources are available so that the best quality Scouting can be delivered in the District.
