Good afternoon,

Unfortunately earlier today our District Commissioner Ruth Marienfeld, was confirmed to have passed following a short illness by her family via social media. Ruth dedicated her life to scouting right until the end.

This comes with so much shock to us all and like myself, I am certain others will share fond memories of Ruth. Ruth will be remembered as a true inspiration , fantastic person and someone who lived life to the fullest.

Our thoughts are with Ruth’s family at this difficult time.
