Southern Europe District Scouts are a part of British Scouting Overseas an area of the UK’s Scout Association, designed to bring British Scouting to members of the expatriate communities for us in Southern Europe. we currently cover France, Spain, Italy, Montenegro and Switzerland giving many young people important #Skillsforlife.
As a District, we are made up of thirteen Groups and five Explorer Scout Units, which make almost 600 young people across five different countries.
Leadership Team
The District Leadership Team is made up of Commissioners, Managers and Supporters who provide leadership and management across the District along with specialised support in areas like people, programme, growth and development, and Youth Shaped Scouting.
Board of Trustees
The District Board of Trustees plays a vital role in the running of a Scout District. Board of Trustees make decisions and carry out administrative tasks to ensure that the resources are available so that the best quality Scouting can be delivered in the District.
