SUMMARY:25th World Scout Jamboree - Korea
DESCRIPTION:In Summer 2023\, more than 40\,000 Scouts from all over the world will gather in Korea for the 25 World Scout Jamboree. The World Scout Jamboree (WSJ) is a World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) event\, it happens every four years\, each time hosted by a different country. We’re so proud that thousands of UK young people aged 14 to 17 and their leaders will in South Korea and we’ll call ourselves the UK Contingent.  Our Contingent are more than just travel buddies\, they are planners\, fundraisers\, motivators and mentors. We’ve got a lot to achieve in a short time but we’ll leap at the challenge as we…  \n\n\n\nThink big. Dream wild. Act Together.  \n\n\n\nWe don’t just dream. SUMMARY:Haarlem Jamborette 2023
DESCRIPTION:The Haarlem Jamborette is a large international camp that takes place for 10 days in The Netherlands every 4 years. Young people from BSO Groups have been attending the Jamborette for many years and can’t wait to be together again. \n\n\n\nThis camp gives the our Young People the chance to attend a jamboree\, meet up with thousands of international groups and take part in a large range of activities such as sailing\, kayaking\, arts and crafts\, sightseeing\, climbing towers\, zip-lines and tons more! There are also several parties throughout the camp including amazing opening and closing ceremonies. For everyone who attends\, it is likely to be the highlight of their childhood! \n\n\n\nWhat is the Haarlem Jamborette?It is a camp for around 3\,000 Scouts and Explorers aged 10-17 from anywhere in the world.There are already participants from UK\, Holland\, Belgium\, Germany\, Luxembourg\, Denmark\, Turkey\, Sweden\, Finland\, Austria\, Switzerland\, Slovenia\, Italy\, Malta\, Russia\, America\, Canada\, Israel\, India & Ghana. \n\n\n\nExplorers and Scouts cook for themselves using the food provided daily by the camp food services team and will cater for any dietary requirements we are told about. \n\n\n\nLots more information on the Haarlem Jamborette website: http://www.haarlemjamborette.nl/

SUMMARY:BSO Southern Europe Eclipse Camp Jamborette
DESCRIPTION:British Scouting Overseas\, Southern Europe District\, (BSO) is excited to announce a Jamborette to be held in the Spanish region of Soria in August 2026. \n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThis will be held at a private\, purpose-built campsite for young people owned by the Village of Covaleda in Soria central Spain (north of Madrid).  \n\n\n\nThe highlight of the camp will be the once in a lifetime chance to witness firsthand a total eclipse of the sun.  This has not occurred in Europe since 1999 and in Spain for over a century.  The camp will last for eight days / seven nights and be available for Network\, Explorers\, Scouts and older Cubs from all groups in BSO and other groups worldwide. \n\n\n\nAttendance is expected to be between 500 and 1000 people. \n\n\n\nLeaders from all groups sending young people will be attending unless otherwise agreed.  Activities during the camp will be safe and exciting and aim to include mountain and water-based experiences in the mornings\, and space and eclipse preparation along with traditional scouting activities such as games and community service around the camp in the afternoons and evenings. \n\n\n\nApart from having fun\, the focus of the camp will be on camaraderie and meeting with other young people from BSO and other scout groups who will be attending.

DESCRIPTION:British Scouting Overseas\, Southern Europe District (BSO) is excited to announce our participation in the International Jamborette at Camp La-No-Che\, Paisley\, Florida in July 2027. \n\n\n\n\n\nThe Jamborette brings scouts from different countries together for new experiences and lasting friendships. Our Southern Europe contingent will join scouts from across the world for an unforgettable two weeks in Florida. \n\n\n\nOpen to Scouts\, Explorers and Network (aged up to 24)\, with space for up to 36 young people and 8 adult leaders.
